Society of Certified RV Professionals Will Celebrate Honorees and
Explore Professionalism with Education Presenter Greg Dewalt at Convention/Expo
(Fairfax, VA) The Society of Certified RV Professionals will host a special event at the 2016 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo on Monday, November 7 from 5:15 - 6:30 p.m. The event will include awards and recognitions followed by an educational component presented by Greg Dewalt of Marzahn & King. The evening will conclude with a reception.
The Society’s event is sponsored by Protective. All registered attendees are invited.
The event will lead off by recognizing several certified professionals and this year’s Society scholarship recipients. Following the awards, Dewalt will present “Attributes and Characteristics: What Does It Mean to Be Professional?” During this high-energy session, participants will learn the principles of professionalism and how these principles can create an immeasurable positive impact on our peers and customers.
Dewalt, a leadership and teambuilding expert, grew up in a family owned RV dealership in Pennsylvania. After graduating from West Point and serving with the U.S. Army he returned to the family business in 1986. He has been active in all roles within the RV dealership including general manager, sales manager, service manager and RV technician.
After the awards and education program, all registered attendees are invited to stay for a reception celebrating the Society’s honorees.
The Mike Molino RV Learning Center Board of Directors initiated the Society in 2014 to increase the number of RV industry certified professionals and retain those who already hold certification credentials. The society is aimed at individuals who hold or aspire to association certification credentials including:
• RVDA-RVIA Technician Certification which includes: Certified, Master, and Specialists
• RV Learning Center certification which includes: Service Writer/Advisor, Service Manager, Parts Manager, Parts Specialist, and Warranty Administrator
